For My first post I will post the first poem I ever wrote and made public lol
Lament the Sky
I dreamed I was falling through the sky
I could feel the air between my fingers
I then knew joy and excitement
Through the wind I could hear a cry
And in my ears her voice did linger
A voice I did not recognize
I said, fear not if I should die
I'll wake before I hit the ground
But her voice called all the same
I started to fear for her
I wanted to comfort her
But I could not reach her
I no longer enjoyed the sky
This open, cold death bringer
Why did she take away my happiness?
Sad, no?
